She was predeceased by: her son David C. Kay; her grandson Joseph M. Sauchuk; her son William L. Kay; her mother Hattie Withey; and her siblings, Eleanor W. Burke and Frederick S. Withey Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Collins (Mike) of Cape May, N. J., Dianne Larson (Mark) of Westerly, R. I., Bobby Kay of Mystic, April Sauchuk (Mike) of Pawcatuck, Kathy LaBonte (Don) and Stonington; her grandchildren, Andrew, Jeremy Madden, James Larson (Maarja), Laura Hardee (Chris), Kate Hall (Bryan), Lindsey and Jacci Greenlee; and her great grandchildren, Chassidy, Allyn, Shanelle, D'Nae Sheffield, Matthew, Jacob Hardee, Hailey, Bryson and Madelyn Hall. She is also survived by one niece and several nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Union Baptist Church Garden of Life, 119 High Street, Mystic, Ct. 06355.
