It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Enza Papandrea of Groton, Connecticut, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Enza's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Giuseppe Lombardo and Rosa Lombardo (Nigro); her grandchildren, Rosalina and Xavia; her sister Maria Lombardo of Italy; and her nephews, Marco and Riccardo.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home (84 Montauk Ave, New London, CT 06320). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church (149 Montauk Ave, New London, CT 06320).
