Gerard Laffargue Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard Laffargue of Groton, Connecticut, born in Noank, Connecticut, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gerard Laffargue and Louise Svaboda Laffargue; his wife Janette Thomson Laffargue; his siblings, George Laffargue, Robert Laffargue, Blanche Laffargue Kayrukstis, Helen Laffargue Carpenter and Ruth Laffargue White; and his son-in-law John Matthews.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Laffargue Matthews and David Laffargue; and his granddaughter Shannon Kelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Noank Historical Society or to the charity of one's choice.
