It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Frances Konicki of Groton, Connecticut, born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anthony J. Jedrey Sr. and Helene Jedrey (Lucey); her children, David Konicki (Joanna), Francine Sproul (Edwin), Clinton Obrey, Christopher Obrey and Chad Obrey (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Samantha Leaman, Alexandra Konicki, Morgan Sproul, Michael Konicki, Madison Konicki, Chad Obrey Jr., Patrick Obrey and Emily Obrey; her significant other Lian Obrey; and her brothers, Christopher Jedrey (Micheline) and Anthony Jedrey.
