Joseph P. Apicelli Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph P. Apicelli of Groton, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Apicelli and Olga Apicelli Fredsbo (Longo). He is survived by: his sister Rita Apicelli of Groton; his sibling's children, Shannon Windisch Pociu (David) of Cheshire, CT and Michael Windisch (Lacy Simkowitz) of San Francisco, CA; his great-niece Anna Pociu; and his pet Leo.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (56 Sacred Heart Dr, Groton, CT 06340).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's honor may be made to the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
