He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Turner and Helen Turner; his children, JB Turner of Belfast, Haley, Ben and Seth Turner (Gail) of Stonington; his grandchildren, Victoria and Bradley; his great grandchild Lorelei; his grandson Howard "Sandy" Turner of Mystic; his sister Sally Turner of Alexandria; and his close friend Bonnie Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to make donations to the Mystic & Noank Library.
