Paul Tanner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Tanner of Groton, Connecticut, who passed away on May 9, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mericantante and Joanna Tanner (Elliott); his sister Michele Tanner; his grandparents, Robert and Mary Elliott; his cousins, Gary and Mark Lachapelle; his friends, Billy Tilley, Johnny Wade and Glenn Rowley; and his pet Bones.
He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia Connelley of Richmond, VA and Johnna Beth Tanner of Stonington; his niece Kyla; his nephews, Chris and Jason; his aunt Roberta; his uncle Guy Lachapelle of Sunset Beach, NC; his cousin Real Lachapelle; his friends, Gail Kelly, Dave Senkow, Paul Dutra, Lee Wildes, Jesse Wade and Terry of Texas; Anastasia and Aaron.
