He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Elliott and Florence Virgin Elliott; his wife Dorothy Elizabeth Burd; his daughter Diana Scovish; his siblings, James Elliott and Mildred Gasbarre; and his great grandchild Tyler Siano.
He is survived by: his son Richard Elliott Jr. (Rebecca); his son-in-law James Scovish; and his grandchildren, Danielle, Jennifer, Benjamin and Chase.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview HealthCare Center in his memory.
