With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ryan Ruzbasan of Groton, Connecticut, whose life came to an end on October 9, 2025 at the age of 14, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Ryan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ryan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Darron Ruzbasan and Christina MacDonald; and his siblings, Corey, Raine and Nya.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Byles-Groton Memorial (310 Thames St, Groton, CT 06340).
