She is survived by : her husband Gary S. Deck; her children, Arrie L Nelson of Groton, Colleen Pero of Groton, Shirley L. Herren of New London, Carrie Genua of Centerbrook and Damien Deck of Preston; her brother Robert Magalis; and her grandchildren, Daemion Startz, Nicoli, Kameron Pray, Ariyana Nelson, Miya-Layla, Ecabella Genua, Allison, Emily, C. J. Avery and Sophia Deck.
