He was predeceased by : his parents, James F. Santacroce and Arlene Chapman Santacroce; his brothers, James and Richard; and his stepson Joshua Stewart.

He is survived by : his wife Rita M. Bliven; his children, Thomas R. Santacroce, Jr. (Jean) of Marion, Cynthia Santacroce of Oakdale and Matthew Santacroce (Patricia) of Pawcatuck; his stepsons, A. Morgan Stewart, IV (Kristen) of Mystic and Zachary Stewart (Donald Pendagast) of Hartford; and his grandchildren, Thomas III, Anthony, Steven, Katelyn, Matthew, Jacquelyn, Vanessa, Fiona and Nora. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Byles-Groton Memorial (310 Thames St, Groton, CT 06340). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be directed to the Groton Lodge of Elks Scholarship Fund, 700 Shennecossett Road, Groton, CT 06340.
