It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alicia Ibarra of Guilford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernesto Cuevas and Berta Cuevas (Berrios); and her husband Alfredo Ibarra. She is survived by: her children, Alfredo Ibarra (Sheerea) of Clinton, Monica Lima of North Branford, Alicia Loreto Goyenechea (Reinaldo) of Guilford, Rodrigo Ibarra (Ilse) of Guilford, David Ibarra (Eileen) of Guilford and Alvaro Ibarra (Suzy) of Guilford; and her siblings, Maria Yolanda Rocca of Virginia, Mariana Cuevas of Meriden, Manuel Cuevas of Chile and Celia Munoz of North Carolina. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
