He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Fitzgerald and Helen Rodden Fitzgerald; and his wife Carol FitzGerald. He is survived by: his children, Kelly, Chip Atzbach, Shaun and Don Farquhar; his grandchildren, Cameron, Molly, Owen, Guin and Ailish; his close friend Marta Toro; and his friend Puerto Aventuras.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sisk Brothers Funeral Home (3105 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ed's memory may be made to CT Hospice 100 Double Beach Road.
