Elizabeth Heery Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Heery (Guilford, Connecticut), who passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo D. Benzi and Mary Benzi (Natowich); her daughter Kathleen Heery-Novinski; her brothers, Arthur, Ronald and John Benzi; and her son-in-law Brent Zira.

She is survived by: her husband Nicholas William Heery; her daughters, Nikki Heery (James Cacopardo) and Kelly Heery-Zira; her son-in-law Martin Novinski; her grandchildren, Kathryn (Novinski), Munday (Keith), Isabella Zira and Nicholas Zira; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth "Betsy", Vera-Kate and Hayes Munday; and her siblings, William Benzi of Florida and Mary Ann Bippus (Benzi) of Maryland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
