He is survived by : his children, Frederick Jr. (Maryanne) of Yardley, PA, Deborah Hathaway (Thomas) of Norwell, MA, Brendan (Susan) of Branford, CT and Patrick (Susanna) of Essex, CT.; his grandchildren, Seana, Conor, Elizabeth, Katherine, Kelsea, Rebecca, Nathaniel, Patrick, Delaina, Emmaline, Samuel and Frederick III (Sam); and his brother Richard Smith (Marilyn) of Naples, Florida..
