He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Lee and Ruby Browning Lee. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Tamplin Lee; his children, James Scott Lee, Jr. (Jennifer) of Madison, David R. Lee (Jenifer) of Deerfield, NH and Jennifer O'Brien of Branford; his sisters, Debbie Thompson of Clothier, WV and Becky Morton of Romeoville, IL; and his grandchildren, Scott Lee III (Emily), Matthew Lee (Samantha), Jacob Lee, Jack Lee, Victoria Lee, Declan O'Brien and Riley O'Brien.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Branford Food Pantry, P.O. Box 1068, Branford, CT 06405 or Operation Smile, P.O. Box 5017, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
