With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynne F. Johnston (Guilford, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Frederick A. Flatow Jr.; and her parents, Frederick A. Flatow and Doris K. Flatow of Meriden, CT.. She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Johnston of Guilford, CT; her sons, David Schoenrock (Christine) of Darien, CT and Peter Schoenrock of Decatur, GA; her stepdaughter Martha Johnston of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her sister-in-law Sandra E. Flatow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
