She was predeceased by: her parents, Nils Peterson and Rochelle Peterson; and her nephew Kyle Martin. She is survived by: her husband Dan Ricker; her children, Kevin Ricker of Guilford, CT and Erica Ricker of Old Saybrook, CT; her extended family, MaryLou Cadwell (Dennis), Melanie Martin, Pam Smith, Beth Peterson, Laura Rendano (Jason), Matthew Peterson, Debbie Parcella (Bob), David Ricker and Dale Ricker (Val Nettleton); and her parents-in-law, William and Joan Ricker. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and their children.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Melinda's memory can be made to the Nils.
