Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Bruckmann of Guilford, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 96, on November 24, 2025. He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor F. Bruckmann; his parents, Carl Rudolph Bruckmann and Marjorie Bruckmann (Schimoler); and his daughter Barbara McCarthy. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Eleanor Miraculous Medals; his children, Anne French (Glenn) of Naugatuck, Joseph Bruckmann (Gail) of Shelton, Robert Bruckmann (Anne) of Walpole, MA and Catherine Kallberg (Don) of Bethel; and his son-in-law Thomas McCarthy of Fairfield. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spear Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (545 Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825).
