Jacob Rene Barrera Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Jacob Rene Barrera (Haddam, Connecticut). Jacob, born on July 31, 2023, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Carlos and Katie of Haddam; his siblings, Joey and Alessandra; his great-grandparents, Don and Bernadette of Cocoa Beach, Florida; his grandparents, Greg, Cathy of Old Saybrook, Rene and Gladys of Clinton; and his uncle Thayer of Rocky Hill. He is also survived by his great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Valley Bible Church (220 Turkey Hill Rd, Haddam, CT 06438).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacob's memory to St. Baldrick's Foundation, the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, or the Closer to Free Ride.
