He was predeceased by: his parents, Praxedes Martínez Piñeiro and Altagracia Sánchez Figueroa; and his son Miguel Angel Martínez González. He is survived by: his wife Iris Nereida González; his sons, Luís Felipe Martínez González (Mireya Estrada) of Rio Grande, PR and Angel Luís Martínez González (Katherine) of New Haven; and his sister Margarita Martínez (Juan Román Alonzo) of Ansonia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
