With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Arthur L. Mongillo Sr. of Hamden, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Arthur left this world on May 12, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Arthur may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arthur touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mongillo and Clementine Mongillo; and his significant other Mara Mongillo (Chaves). He is survived by: his son Arthur L. Mongillo, Jr.; his granddaughters, Kathryn of Hamden, Zoey and Penny of South Windsor; his daughter-in-law Kelly of South Windsor; and his siblings, Bob Mongillo (Janet) of North Haven and Linda Vincent (Mark).
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (86 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT 06514). A burial was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at the same location.
