He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Hagan and Margaret Walsh O'Hagan; his wife Theresa; his son James; and his sister Mary McGlade of Draperstown.
He is survived by: his daughters, MaryJane Tremblay (Paul) of Hamden, Margaret O'Hagan-Lynch (Joseph) of Wallingford and Patricia O'Hagan Kelly (Grellan) of Weymouth, MA; his grandchildren, Meagan Tremblay Dameron (Matt), Christopher Tremblay, Liz O'Hagan, Theresa, James Lynch, Patrick and Shauna Kelly; and his siblings-in-law, Jean McNally and Harold Renaud of Ontario Canada. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
