She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Burns and Blanche Burns (Boisclair); and her siblings, Irene Hague, Rita Sullivan, Edward, William and Paul Burns.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur D. Staple. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
