We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2020 we had to say goodbye to David Valentine Jr. of Hamden, Connecticut, born in East Hampton, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his stepfather Martin Cannata; and his grandparents, Elliott and Lena Valentine. He is survived by : his parents, David E. Valentine, Sr. of Gulf Shore and Joanne Valentine-Cannata (Daniels) of East Hampton; his sister Kristen Russenberger (Valentine); his brother-in-law Zachary of East Hampton; his girlfriend Sonia Oliveira of Hamden; his grandparents, Eleanor H. Daniels of Middletown and Joseph Daniels, Jr. of South Windsor; his nephews, Brayden and Kaleb Russenberger; his niece Harper Russenberger; and also Rosie. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, October 18 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell where masks and social distancing will be required. Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations DJ's memory may be made to Protectors of Animals, P.O. Box 24, South Glastonbury, CT 06073-0624.
