He was predeceased by: his parents, David C. Willis and Esther Doolittle Willis; his brother Robert Willis; and his former wife Janet Dinneen Willis. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Howell Willis of Hamden; his children, Susan Lizotte (David), Deborah Willis and Barry Willis; his grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Maxine and Tim; and his siblings, Joan Young, Dan Willis and Carole Willis. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
