He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Hunihan and Anel Hunihan (Pozika); and his sister Eileen Hunihan. He is survived by : his children, Sean Hunihan (Amy) of Waterbury, CT and Kelly Cesare (Craig); his grandchildren, Craig Jr. and Gabriella Cesare of Hamden, CT.; and his nephews, Mark, Charles and Justin Laudano.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the American Legion Post 88 (3005 Dixwell Ave, Hamden, CT 06518).
