With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Gaye Greene (Hamden, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Batts of Elm City, NC and Ruth Giles of Hamden, CT.; her children, Wallace Greene Jr., Kenneth Greene and Susan Greene; and her grandsons, James Harris and Anthony Strothers.
She is survived by: her husband Wallace Greene; her son Keith Greene; and her grandchildren, Travis Greene, Janae Greene, Miles Greene and Adrien Hassell Jr.. She is also survived by two great grandchildren from James Harris, and other extended family.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Funerals (86 Circular Ave, Hamden, CT 06514). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the same location.
