It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor McBride in Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Junk and Dorothy Junk (Urbine); her siblings, Patricia Kelly, Donald and Gerald Junk; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Kelly, Michael Peden and Patrick Murphy.

She is survived by: her husband Richard McBride; her daughters, Susan DeLong (James) of Hamden, CT, Laura Andersen (James) of The Villages, FL, Sarah Gargano (Fred) of East Haven, CT and Kathleen McBride of Woodinville, WA; her grandsons, Ryan and Nicholas Schloss of North Carolina; her sisters, Janet Peden and Nancy Murphy of Fort Wayne, IN; and her sister-in-law Sharon Junk of Avilla, IN. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
