It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Mayo of Hamden, Connecticut, born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Warren Summerville and Ethel Douglas Summerville; and her siblings, Mary Louise and Joseph. She is survived by : her husband Clyde Mayo; and her children, Deborah (Gary Webb), Katherine (Chris Garrard), Margaret (David Phelps) and James Mayo. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
