He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Knox and Mary Ann Knox; his daughter Cherise Wilson; his siblings, Bobby, Sidney Knox and Delores Stewart; and his stepson Demetrius Coppage.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Wanda Coppage (Ude); his siblings, Betty Knox, Mary Talley (Jerome), Lillian Doris Knox, Maggie Knox, John Knox, William Knox (Naomi) and James Knox (Doretha); and his close friend Mary Fulton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
