She is survived by: her sons, Francisco Anderson (Aimee Nicole) of Texas, Hector Lee Melendez and Malik Melendez of Texas; and her sisters, Mildred Orts (William) of New York, Sandra Melendez and Maria Elena Suarez. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
