We are sad to announce that, on January 3, 2026, at the age of 102, Gemma Dowling of Hamden, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Howard E. Dowling; her parents, Joseph Florentino and Marcella Marziole Florentino; her son-in-law Robert Zgradden; and her siblings, Josephine Florentino, Elizabeth Migliaro, Dominic, Harry and Louis Florentino.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Bunnell (John "Tibby") and Janice Zgradden; her grandchildren, Jay Bunnell (Lisa), Joseph Bunnell (Chantelle), Danielle, Campo (Jake) and Chad Zgradden (Felicity); her great grandchildren, Ashley, Lyndsey, Jake, Connor, Grace, Natalie, Samuel and Logan; and her partner Thomas Corcoran. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
