Gene Harold Outka Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 1, 2023, at the age of 86, Gene Harold Outka (Hamden, Connecticut), born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Irvin and Gertrude Anna Elliott Outka; his brother Darryll Outka; and his former wife Carole DeVore. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Paul (Uma), Elizabeth (Trip Pollard) and Jacqueline (Abuzer Rafey); his grandchildren, Katherine, Thomas Pollard, Isaac and Juliet Outka; his stepchildren, Tony Whall (Holly), Amy Joyce (Bob), Jennifer Whall (Scott Nelson) and Kate Whall; his former wife Susan Owen; and his sister-in-law Kay Outka. He is also survived by extended family, colleagues, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Yale Divinity School.
