With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F. Ohlsen of Hamden, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 24, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ohlsen and Eleanor Nelson Ohlsen; his grandson James Edward Lyas; and his siblings, Arthur, Henry, David Ohlsen, Eleanor Stensland and Theresa Mize.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dennis Ohlsen; his daughters, Dale Briere (Norman) of Beacon Falls, Rebekah Lyas (Ben) of Wallingford and Danielle Ohlsen of Indian Orchard, MA; his grandchildren, Douglas (Mariana), Eric Briere, Jasmine Myers, Marie Elena and Ruby Emma Jane Lyas; and his sister Mary Jane Lynch. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
