He is survived by: his sister Suzanne Boorsch (Allan Appel); his sister-in-law Dorothea Dietrich; his niece Sophie Appel (Geoffery Metz); his great-nephew Samuel Peter; his great-niece Gabrielle Suzanne Appel-Metz; his sibling's children, Elizabeth Vogler and Nathaniel Appel (Joanna Antisell); his adoptive son Dylan Bruns (Jennifer); and also, Jake Arlie and Kinsley Kelly Bruns.
