He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Boeckmann and Maria Boeckmann (Wieghaus). He is survived by: his wife Anne Chiang; his children, Julius and Annika Chiang; and his siblings, Leni Appeldorn, Paul of Germany, Josef of Germany and Klaus Boeckmann of Germany.
