He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Sheehan, Sr. and Margaret Sheehan (Nichols); his son Kevin Sheehan; and his siblings, Dorothy, Michael, William, Peter, Arthur and Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine I. Sheehan (Kwalek); his children, Geoffrey Sheehan (Laura) of Newington and Maura Wheeler (Douglas) of Radnor, PA; his grandchildren, Carrie Coe (Jake Birner), Elizabeth Bouchard (Cory Winslow), Kate Facey (Richard Facey), Jeremiah Sheehan (Stephanie Caldara), Ethan Sheehan (Lydia Stahl), Kiera Sheehan, Jackson Sheehan (Anna Pitblado), Drew Wheeler and RJ Wheeler (Peyton Wells); and his godsons, Rick Timothy and David Wisniewski. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
