With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Dapkin of Hamden, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dapkin and Terri Dapkin. He is survived by: his wife Heidi; his brother Andrew Dapkin; his sisters-in-law, Linda Rubertone and Carol Cavaliere-Dapkin; his mother-in-law Eva Rubertone; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Roberts (Nate), Tricia Affinito (Steve), Thomas Zeffiro (Sharon), Lily Zeffiro and Andrew Dapkin, Jr.; his great-nephews, Franco, Marley and Kenzi Roberts; his aunts, Marie Strona and Christine Warken; his uncle Gunther Warken; his friends, Dan and Toni Paier; his cousin Steve Oneto (Evan Oppenheim); and his pet Fiona.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home (1022 Dixwell Ave, Hamden, CT 06514). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (2819 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal haven of North Haven.
