He is survived by: his wife Julia Morales Torres; his children, Yuli Chacón (Rene) of Hamden, Priscila Sil of Wallingford and Jimmy (Melissa Calderón) of Tampa, FL; his siblings, Marta Mateo, Elisa Mateo (David Callegas), Roselia Mateo, Carlos Mateo (Aura) of Guatemala City and Ruben Mateo of Guatemala City; his grandchildren, Kylianny Chacón, Alexis Chacón, Adeliz Chacón, Jamilette Sil Soto, Eden Sil, José Carión Tatiana Calderón and Amarae Rosario; and his great grandchildren, Jovanny Ocasio, Avianny Ocasio and Carmela Chacón. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
