With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynne Travisano Slavin of Hamden, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2026 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Slavin; her parents, Samuel Travisano and Eva Alberghini Travisano; her granddaughter Samantha Scarborough; her great grandchildren, Torrie, Abigale, Addison, Emilia, Jaxson and James; and her brother Joseph Travisano.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeralyn Burns (John), Eva Hess (Jay) and Lauren Levchuk (Ron); her sisters, Carol Montagna (Frank) and Elizabeth Heffernan (John); her grandchildren, Stacy Burns, Jacqueline Jermine (Jeff), Jay Burns, Brittney Ott (Craig), Justine Scarborough (Jaret), Alexis Scarborough, Morgan Cotter (Jeff) and Michael Levchuk; and her boyfriend John DeBenedet. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
