Madeline Basilicato Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Madeline Basilicato of Hamden, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Madeline left this world on January 19, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dominic Basilicato Sr.; her parents, Laurence Kelley and Doris Kelley; her daughter Lottie Jean Gargiulo; and her siblings, Frances Wallace, Lawrence and Theodore Kelley.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael and Dominic Basilicato Jr. (Donna); her siblings, Donald Kelley (Nancy) and Ada Kelley (John); and her grandchildren, James, Charlotte, Laura, Angela and Andrea. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter in memory of Madeline's beloved cat Bandit.
