She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Meadows and Maggie L. Meadows; her husband David Howlett; her daughters, Bernetta and Tiajuana Howlett; and her grandson Nicholas Sebastian Brumsey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gwendolyn Barnes of Linden, Gail Howlett-Nixon of Lancaster and Mercedes White (Darrow) of Cheshire, Connecticut; and her goddaughter Patricia Bost (Randy) of Hamden, Connecticut. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
