It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Ercolano Astorino (Hamden, Connecticut), who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ercolano and Antoinette Ruggiero Ercolano; her husband Arthur L. Astorino; her son Michael Arthur Astorino; and her siblings, Rose Ercolano, Genevieve Gaudio, Joseph Ercolano and Florence Mattei.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Heying (Theodore) and Helene Augustine (Jeffrey); her sister Rita Santini; her sister-in-law Mary Ercolano; and her grandchildren, Lauren Astorino (Anthony Paquette), Victoria Scheff, Stefanie Donohue (Ryan), Andrew Scheff (Jessica) and Sara McDowell (Joe). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
