We announce the death of Mary Cox of Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 79. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband James V. Cox; and her parents, Martin Walsh and Bridget Walsh. She is survived by: her children, Norma Moran (Tom) of Cheshire, Kevin Cox (Missy) of Orange, Mary Letourneau (Jeff) of Guilford, James V. Cox (Maura) of Cheshire, Sheila van den Broeck (Marc) of Branford and Colleen Sylvestre (James) of Middletown; her grandchildren, Brendan (Madi), Shannon, Kathleen, Meghan Moran, Emily, Michael, Colin Letourneau, Kevin, Molly Cox, Maeve, Grace, Tierney, James Cox, Jeremy, Luc van den Broeck, Paul, Maggie and Mary Sylvestre; and her siblings, Michael, Martin, Ann, Nora, Mairead, Kathleen, Bernie and Nuala.
