It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary-Jane Mardis of Hamden, Connecticut, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas O'Brien and Margaret O'Brien (Arctander). She is survived by : her husband Allen Mardis, Jr.; her siblings, Thomas and Alison O'Brien; her son David Cubito; her daughter-in-law Jennifer of St. Petersberg, FL; her stepchildren, Kyle, Olga Mardis of Hamden, CT, Michael, Andrea Mardis of Clermont and Catherine Mardis of Southeast, NY; her grandchildren, Anna, Benjamin H., Benjamin R., James, Nicole, Aiden, Lauren, Katelyn, Brandon and Nathan; and her pets, Mollie and Smudge.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary-Jane's memory may be made to the New Fairfield Sherman Animal Shelter, 223 Rt. 37, New Fairfield.
