It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael L. Dowling of Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dowling and Patricia Dowling. He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Schmidt Dowling; his sons, Michael (Sara), Steven and Daniel Dowling; his grandchildren, Sofia and Andrew Dowling; his brothers, Edward, Paul (Debra) and David Dowling (Natasha); his sisters-in-law, Annelouise Schmidt (Pam), Greta Heath (Steven Bourgeois) and Heidi Law (David); and his siblings' children, Jordan, Caitlin Law, Tommy Heath and Jack Dowling.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beecher & Bennett Funeral Service - Hamden (2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Rita Church (1620 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06517).
