He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Wheatley and Leila G. Wheatley. He is survived by: his daughter Julianna Wheatley Rogers; his grandchildren, Sabrina Rogers and Jacob Rogers of Massachusetts; his siblings, Richard P. Wheatley (Kathi) of Hamden, CT, Daniel Wheatley of Maine and Joanne Wheatley Johnson; his brother-in-law Geoffrey Johnson (Damien Drobinski) of Hamden; and his nephews, Jason and James. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Beecher and Bennett Funeral Home (2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Vi Parish-St. Rita Church (1620 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06517).
