With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Nuñez Evans (Hamden, Connecticut), born in Fairfield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Rose departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rose. Though Rose may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Luis Nunez. She is survived by: her husband William Evans; her mother Nuria Amigo Nunez; her daughter Ashlee Evans; and her siblings, Virginia Olson, Louis Nunez, Paul Nunez and Katie Nunez.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Beecher & Bennett Funeral Service (2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518). A memorial service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
