We are sad to announce that, on April 11, 2022, at the age of 89, Samuel A. Burrell Jr. of Hamden, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Burrell and Evelyn Taylor Burrell; his sister Muriel Estelle; and his niece Elizabeth Estelle. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Williams; his children, Evelyn Fay (Donald), Samuel Abbott, III (Alexis) and Scott David; his grandchildren, Aaron Taylor of Washington, Coakley Scott Burrell, Alycia Taylor (Cassie) of Washington and Cora Jean Burrell; his sister Charlotte Mikell; his niece Sharon O'Connor (Everett); and his stepgrandchildren, Kathleen Fay, Timothy Fay, Tyler Devine and Miles Hightower.
